Sense · Predict · Act

Sense. Predict. Act. Before a fault becomes a fire.

"Precaution is better than cure." SnifferBots senses what's building inside every feeder compartment in your LV & MV control panels, predicts where it's heading, and acts — alerting your team or auto-tripping the feeder — before a fault becomes a fire.

The problem

Switchgear protects against faults. It can't predict a fire.

Panels like switchgear are built to protect against over-current, over-voltage, short circuits and earth faults. But they weren't designed to catch the slow-building conditions — heat, humidity, dust, gas — that quietly turn a healthy feeder compartment into a fire risk.

High temperature

Heat build-up inside a compartment is one of the earliest warning signs of a developing fault.

High humidity & dust

Moisture and dust accumulation degrade insulation and contacts over time.

Uneven load & wrong ratings

Incorrect feeder ratings, poor workmanship and uneven load currents compound the risk.

Ageing & no maintenance

Ageing switchgear with no or improper maintenance schedules fails silently — until it doesn't.

Our solution

Meet SnifferBots — monitoring that thinks ahead.

An IoT-based product and system that guards against the destructive, combined effects of abnormal temperature, humidity and gas developing inside a feeder compartment — before they turn into an accident.

  • →A dedicated sensor in every feeder compartment, wired or wireless to a central sensing hub.
  • →Real-time data streamed to the cloud and/or your local on-site storage.
  • →A desktop & mobile web application for monitoring and control from anywhere.
  • →Automatic alerts and remedial action the moment a reading leaves the healthy zone.

How it works

Sense. Predict. Act. In four moves.

1

Sense

A SnifferBots unit is fitted inside each feeder compartment, continuously reading temperature, humidity and gas.

2

Transmit

Units connect wirelessly to the cloud with two-way communication and fast auto-reconnection after any power interruption.

3

Predict

The application reads combinations of sensor signals to predict a developing fault, raising a clear Green–Orange–Red status the moment something looks off.

4

Act

Authorised users can trip the affected feeder remotely — and in extreme situations, SnifferBots can trigger a proactive trip on its own.

Why SnifferBots

The other options only react. SnifferBots predicts.

Reactive only

Internal arc tested panels

Contains a short circuit once it happens (IEC 61641), but can't predict it — and the compartment still needs a full clean-up and rebuild afterwards.

Reactive only

Gas suppression systems

Only releases extinguishing gas once heat punctures the sensor tube — and struggles with multiple simultaneous fault points.

Predictive + proactive

SnifferBots

Reads conditions continuously, alerts at the first sign of trouble, and can trip the feeder before a fire ever starts.

Our goal
